As a Assistant Fund Controller, you will support the accounting team with financial reporting, controlling, cash flow planning, corporate income tax (CIT), and VAT. You serve as the link between the business, Investment Oversight, Treasury, and Payments. Whilst also playing a key role in managing reliable and complete financial information and provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to the (Senior) Fund Controller.
You are responsible for managing and overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and account reconciliation while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies. This role also includes responsibilities in Custody and Nostro operations, Tax Management, Expense Management, Procurement, and Insurance Administration to ensure efficient financial operations and risk mitigation.
Reporting directly to the Operational Director, the Financial Controller will primarily focus on executing financial operations and maintaining accuracy in financial reporting. In this financial controlling role, you will offer clear insights to aid the operational director and the organisation in making strategic decisions through efficient execution of financial tasks.
