For the corporate legal team in Amsterdam, Banijay is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Legal Counsel - Corporate with a strong corporate legal background and a no-nonsense and friendly approach. You will have the unique opportunity to be part of a world class legal team which consist of the Manager Legal Corporate, a Legal Counsel (both based in Amsterdam) and a Senior Legal Counsel and Paralegal (both based in Paris).

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will lead financial control and reporting for two operating companies with entities in multiple countries. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing processes, and supporting external audits.

You are responsible for managing and overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and account reconciliation while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies. This role also includes responsibilities in Custody and Nostro operations, Tax Management, Expense Management, Procurement, and Insurance Administration to ensure efficient financial operations and risk mitigation.

You will be responsible for the financial of a selection of hotel portfolios in the Netherlands and Germany. The reporting of the hotel operations is outsourced to hotel managers.

You are responsible for building the business within the 2 biggest Niche accounts in the Netherlands and distribution via independent niche players in the Benelux. You will develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with Skins and De Bijenkorf. Additionally, you are the commercial contact for independent niche customers in the Benelux and visit them on a regular basis.
